Problem
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI) people are still denied basic legal protections in many countries and experience high levels of discrimination and violence. Furthermore, LGBTQI young people report the highest levels of harassment and discrimination compared to any other age group within the LGBTQI population. Schools also remain unsafe for many learners with bullying remaining a serious issue for LGBTQI young people.

Solution
IGLYO works directly with LGBTQI young people to build their confidence, skills and experience to become leaders and change-makers within the LGBTQI movement. Through an extensive programme of international training events, workshops and online learning opportunities, IGLYO ensures that LGBTQI young people are educated on their human rights and have the knowledge and resources to advocate and campaign on LGBTQI issues.
IGLYO's LGBTQI Inclusive Education Project advocates for safe, supportive, and inclusive education for all across Europe by gathering in-depth data on state education systems and working with national governments and NGOs to make meaningful improvements.
